Chad Beam
President
Chad is owner and founder of Beam Excavating since its inception in 2004. He has steadily grown this company over the years, making it what it is today. Chad is from Hood River locally, and keeps great relationships with his clients. As a local business owner, he also sponsors and donates as many local events as possible, including foundations, high school events, and fundraisers for multiple causes.
Randy Achziger
Project Manager
Randy is the project manager and lead esitmator, bringing over 20 years' experience to the table. He has been a great addition to the team, working closely with Chad organizing and running all of the jobs for Beam Excavating.
Billy Broderick
Foreman
Billy has been with Beam Excavating since its beginnings in 2004, and is our oldest employee. He often operates in both the commercial and residential realms for Beam. He can often be found installing septic systems, or operating machinery on a commercial job.
Randy Whistler
Foreman
Randy has over 30 years' experience in the construction industry, including both residential and commercial jobs. As one of our foreman he is often found as a lead on some of our commercial work. Randy specializes in grading and is our go to for any parking lots, driveways, or jobs that require a high level of attention to detail.
Jim Wilson
Foreman
Jim has over 30 years' experience in the construction industry, including both residential and commercial jobs. He can often be found directing our pipe crew on a number of jobs here in the Columbia Gorge as well as in Portland. His vast years of experience help to make our jobs run smoothly and efficiently.
Roger Whitecotton
Truck Boss
Roger has over 20 years' experience in the construction industry. Here at Beam Roger can often be found hauling from job to job around town, or delivering rock and soil to any number of our many residential and commercial customers. Beyond his work as Truck Boss, Roger can also be found operating at a number of our residential jobs due to his vast experience and knowledge in the field, making him dually important to us as both an operating foreman and as a truck driver.
